Mad Jupiter

Mad Jupiter (he/They) is a trans bassist and artist based in Boston, MA. They write alt-neo soul and rock infused music for frogs and fairies that primarily explores themes of identity, existentialism and whimsy. With their music, they create a space where people feel comfortable to be freaks with other freaks. After all, we are the best version of ourselves when we embrace the ugly.

Just over one year ago Mad came to the realization that he would be significantly happier identifying as trans masc. He tried very hard to ignore this feeling, hoping it would go away. But it proved impossible to ignore. 

In order to navigate the mental struggles and not go insane, he wrote music, which he released as his second album: I've Gone Red.

Ive Gone Red is the product of a year’s worth of confusion, love, fear, self expression and the budding of a previously unimaginable self-acceptance.
